Works great.
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
Good construction and great performance. My torch came with the nozzle a bit crooked but it still works perfectly so I don’t care. The flame is easily adjusted from full blast to a kinder more gentler flame and it lights in a flash.

Exclusively a cigar lighter!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I love this lighter. Can light any cigar i put in front of it and I can even toast a cigar to the point where it stays light without having me puff on it. Can use a gentle flame to speed up the lighting process. All-in-all it is the greatest lighter I have ever owned. Now I have to figure out how I am supposed to afford cigars when the tax on a box is $10… Thanks Maobama, Clinton and I appreciate it.

Blazer Micro-Torch
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I have owned a Blazer Micro Torch for at least four (4) years. My original torch was damaged while unprotected in my tool pouch recently. I know I could have had my old one repaired, but I chose to replace it.
Since I brought it to work to solder lugs onto 10 gauge wire, one of my co-workers was impressed and since I told him I was going to get one for the company and one for me, he asked that I get him one too.
The micro torch has its place. It definitely works great for heating up the solder lugs and for soldering in remote areas (no electricity). I have even heated shrink tube, however you have to be careful not to apply the flame to the shrink tubing or the insulation on any wires.
I like that I can also control the intensity of the flame. Hey, if I didn’t like the first one I bought, I certainly would not have purchased another one.

Wretchedly pitiful
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
Bought this for my creme brule desserts. First use at a dinner this evening. Pitiful. Carmelized the sugar much like a bic lighter found in a rest stop parking lot. Might be able to set dry leaves on fire if needed or possibly gas but little else. Before purchasing fling your cash into a neaby trash can for equal effect to purchasing this item.

Father’s Day
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
To be honest I use this most often to light candles. Oh, I have used it to solder and any number of typical applications. And this instrument RULES! It’s flat out cool. It is a “James Bond” sort of thing. Which brings me back to “Father’s Day” or Dad’s or your husband’s birthday – Get this! Buy it NOW! This Blazer Torch is great looking and a killer tool.
At any rate, I’ve owned 2 of these. The first one was with me for 15 years. The second is in my hand. Own one. The Blazer Torch is a good thing.

A RELIABLE, QUALITY PRODUCT FOR FINE DETAIL SOLDERING
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I have been using this torch in my business for fine silver soldering for many years. Tried several others, but this is the best–and now they have improved the adjustment system for better flame control. I just bought 2 new ones to add to the 3 older ones that are still working after YEARS of use.

Torching Your Creme Brulee
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
Recently this product migrated from the workshop into the kitchen where I discovered that it works beautifully for torching your creme brulee to create that crunchy sugar topping. I originally purchased it for use with silver wire in jewelry making (performs wonderfully there too). The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the ignition switch doesn’t work first time every time.

works great but can’t braze or weld with it, not hot enough
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
I received mine with no butane in it, bought some locally and leaked out. tighten a screw on top of torch and was ok after that.
It does not get hot enough to braze or weld but works great for anything else, like it works great for heating up screws, bolts and nuts to loosen rust, soldering, ect.

Blazer Micro-Torch
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I purchased this product for my son for a cigar lighter but I have had one that is for all practical purposes just like the new one that I bought I for my son. I have had it since 1986 and I have never had any problems with it at all. I have used it for silver soldering and making jewelry and for many other uses. The only difference between the new one and the old one is that the removable base on the new product is larger and provides more protection against tipping. It is a little pricey but it is a high quality product and well worth the money. I do recommend using high quality when it is filled.

I have used many similar torches in the service and repair of boats, this torch is the best that I have used to date. Very good quality, ease of operation and great performance.

A Fine Tool
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I like tools in general, precision ones in particular. I have had this torch for three months and am impressed with how useful it can be. I use the torch to light several candles quickly, and sculpt the wax as needed. For lighting a fire at the campsite or fire pit the torch puts out beacoup BTUs, making it fun and easy. This is not a toy, it is the real thing, use it accordingly.

I recently started making jewelry in my spare time and this microtorch was the missing link that I needed to melt precious metals.

Makes a great tabletop cigar lighter
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I have had this torch for about 8 years now and still works great. I have left it outside and has a bit of rust on it. It still works the same as I bought it. It also adjusts to a nice typical flame (like a standard lighter), it lights cigars perfectly, you just have to make sure you don’t open the valve (red valve on the end controls the butane)too much. Highly recommended

Just the job
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
This butane torch is easy to operate, has an adjustable flame and once ignited will stay lit without having to hold the starter down. Turning it off is just a case of closing the gas knob. It is perfect for our needs. The stand is big enough so that the torch is stable, and can be removed if not needed. Highly recommended. In fact we are going to buy another one it is so useful.

Great Cigar Lighter
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Don’t buy this if you have kids in the house. This ain’t a toy.
Don’t use this after the third martini.
Great cigar lighter. You can weld with this thing.
Repeat: This is NOT a toy.

Great torch!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
This torch is really amazing. I use it in our kitchen to carmelize sugars for creme brulee, candied brie, meringues, etc. Many of the other torches we’ve used are either too bulky or just are built to last.
Instant start, flame length adjustment and temperature adjustment features are fabulous. I would buy this torch again before wasting money on any other torch.
